2025-2026 Board of Directors
EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS
PRESIDENT, Cheryl Mabry – As president Cheryl will be representing the organization with the City and will oversee all BOD meetings, member meetings, shows and events.
VICE PRESIDENT, for Shows, Laura Johnson –As vice president of shows Laura will be overseeing all shows and helping all show chairs with assigning tasks and making show decisions.
VICE PRESIDENT, for meeting Demos, Judith Pafford –As vice president of membership meetings and demo Judith will be booking demo artists, handling their contracts and introducing them to the membership.
TREASURER, Sherry Jones – As treasurer Sherry handles all transactions of monies for the organization and completes the grant funding application for the city of Richardson. She works closely with the BOD to keep our organization on a sound financial footing.
SECRETARY, Jodi Pena – As secretary Jodi will compile the BOD minutes, agendas and recordings for our permanent records.
PARLIAMENTARIAN, Jonesy McConnell – As parliamentarian Jonesy will be sure that the BOD staff follows proper etiquette and organization procedures for all meetings.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WELCOMING / ART OF THE MONTH, Carol Marks & Terri Hennessey – These ladies welcome everyone to our meetings, hand out name tags, and handle the monthly meeting art contest.
AUDIO VISUAL AND ZOOM, Cheryl Mabry & Sherry Jones – These ladies run the audio/visual equipment for meetings and enable the live zoom broadcasts.
MEMBER MEETING REFRESHMENTS CHAIR, Linda Matthews –Linda schedules refreshments for all membership meetings and when needed for show receptions.
WEBSITE ADMIN, Melissa Irvin – Melissa manages and maintains our website. Please send her any pictures or information that you wish to have posted.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER, Jette Stephens – Jette will work with event and show chairs to create all posters, cards, programs, etc needed for the organization.
SPONSORSHIP & CORPORATE NETWORKING, Lynn Barrett – Lynn will be working with the chamber of commerce and corporations to obtain sponsorships.
SHOW AWARDS CHAIRMAN, Gail Chandler – Gail will be contacting merchants to obtain awards for all shows
2025 FALL SHOW CHAIR (Willow Bend Mall), Jodi Pena – Jodi will be working with PAA and our membership to oversee all aspects of our Fall 2025 show.
2026 SPRING SHOW CHAIR, (LLUMC), Cheryl Mabry & Linda Matthews – Cheryl and Linda will be overseeing our spring 2026 show working with, Artreach at LLUMC, Watson Hall
2026 REGIONAL SHOW CHAIR, (EISEMANN CTR), TBD, we need 2 volunteers – This is our largest and most watched show of the year. This is the only show open to artists that are not members and encompasses the whole state of Texas. These show chairs will work with the Eisemann center, our BOD and CAFE to produce this show.
HUFFINES SHOW CHAIR, Dan Myers & Mike Kumley – These gentlemen handle this year-round show and all aspects of the artwork rotation.
YOUNG PEOPLES SHOW CHAIR, (RISD), Ted Houston & Andrew Calkin – Each year these gentlemen work with, Myron Stennett with the Richardson ISD, to sponsor a student art show. They handle all aspects of the show for our organization and all communications with the school district.
TOWER 2600 & CITY HALL SHOW CHAIR, Dan Myer, we need another volunteer – these two shows run year-round. we need another person to work with Dan to organize the artwork change outs for these 2 locations.
HEIGHTS SOLO SHOW CHAIR, Dan Myers, We need another volunteer – this show is a special opportunity for our members. You can hang a solo show of about 15 pieces. We need another person to help Dan with the artwork change out and scheduling of this show.
***PLEASE NOTE ALL BOD MEMBERS ARE VOTING MEMBERS, however if someone holds more than one position, they only get one vote. Any ties or disputes will be decided by the president & 2 vice presidents re-voting to brake the tie.
