Where creativity thrives and community comes alive!

Founded in 1966 as Richardson’s first visual arts organization, RCAS has grown from a small circle of
passionate artists—both beginners and professionals—into a vibrant 501(c)(3) nonprofit that celebrates the power of
art to inspire, connect, and transform.

We have monthly meetings with guest artists demonstrating their style and techniques. This is offered as a free service
to our community. We have light refreshments and an Art of the Month Contest. Please come join us!
