We are excited to announce that our Demo Artist this month will be the talented Steve Ko!
Steve Ko — Master of Portrait and Expression
Steve Ko is a nationally recognized portrait artist whose work bridges fine art and commercial design with effortless skill. Since 2017, he has served as the portrait artist for Raising Cane’s Co., creating the signature Elvis Presley portraits displayed at each restaurant location—an iconic contribution that has become part of the company’s visual identity.
Beyond his commissioned work, Steve is a dedicated art instructor with a lifelong passion for teaching. Over the course of his career in California and Texas, more than 160 of his students have gone on to attend top-ten private art colleges, a testament to his ability to inspire and cultivate emerging talent.
His professional background also spans graphic design and marketing, having served as Graphic Designer at Interprise in Dallas and Marketing Director for both All About Kids Publishing Co. in San Jose and American Portwell Technologies in Fremont, California. In addition, Steve has shared his expertise through teaching positions at Pacific Grove Art Center, Pacific Coast Christian Academy, and West Valley College, where he instructed courses in portrait painting.
