NOVEMBER ART OF THE MONTH WINNERS!

NOVEMBER DEMO ARTIST: DALYNN MONTGOMERY

Dalynn is an enthusiastic Watercolor artist and Urban Sketcher. She is an admin for the Dallas/ Ft. Worth chapter of Urban Sketchers, a global community of sketchers dedicated to the practice of on-location drawing and painting. Past President of Southwestern Watercolor Society, Dalynn enjoys encouraging and promoting watercolor painting for all who have a desire and interest to learn! A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, Dalynn worked as a residential architectual designer for Dallas home builders, and later owned an Interior Design studio. A theater lover, Dalynn volunteers for the AT&T Performing Arts Center. When not working, painting or sketching, Dalynn enjoys countryside walks and boating with her husband and big hound dog Ollie.

Artist Statement:

Becoming an artist in my mid-life years, I am profoundly grateful for the special beauty in everyday scenes that my eyes have awakened to take notice of. I marvel at the play of light and color and composition and enjoy the challenge of expressing my wonderment on paper with my beloved watercolors.
